I stepped on a board for my first time in the summer of 2019 and immediately knew I needed to get my own. Shortly after I got my first board, a friend of mine jokingly sent me a video of people doing downhill and joked that we would do that one day too. I had never seen downhill skateboarding in my life before, and immediately knew that’s what I wanted to do. Eventually I taught myself how to slide through countless videos and found a local community to skate with. I am forever thankful for everything that the Abby skate crew had helped me with. I truly don’t think I’d be where I am today if it hadn’t been for their support.
I am representing Team Canada for in the 2024 World Skate Games in Italy.I am really stoked on having the opportunity to skate for and represent PARKtek. The quality of their boards are amazing, and they’re all built in Canada!
My favourite board is definitely The Raegun. I really love how the concave feels and keeps you locked in. The wheel flares are also more aggressive than the board I was riding before which helps while cornering, and sliding.
